CMC Packaging Automation · On-demand packaging
On-demand cardboard packaging for every order
CMC CartonWrap automates the creation of boxes fitted to the dimensions of the contents. The solution integrates measuring, cutting, forming, closing and identification of the package in one continuous flow.

How it works
The items in the order are identified and measured. The machine uses roll-fed cardboard to produce a package with dimensions suited to the contents, reducing the need for inventories of pre-formed boxes.
Benefits
Reduced empty space; lower material consumption; fewer manual activities; standardized packing; better use of storage and transport; greater flexibility for different orders.
Applications
E-commerce, retail, fashion, cosmetics, electronics, parts and operations with wide order variation.
Features and modules published by CMC
one to four channels of continuous fanfold corrugated cardboard, in white, brown or pre-printed material; dynamic box cutting; 3D scanner for dimensioning; induction conveyor; optional pre-induction with automatic reading of up to six sides; product insertion and closing with low-impact adhesive; easy opening and optional resealing for returns; printing and application of one or more labels; optional Hazmat printing and application; document printer and selective insert feeders; checkweigher; Cam Log image recording; integration with sorters and PackVertizing. The solution can receive data directly from the database or recognize the product in the flow, and integrates pre-consolidated single-line and multi-line orders with the WMS.
